- What is the Power League?
- The Aloha Region Power League is a series of tournaments that allows for the top teams in the Aloha Region to compete against each other in competitive matches and to prepare these teams for tournament play on the continent. Once broken up into divisions, the format allows teams, regardless of age, to play against each other in highly contested matches to earn points towards the league title.
- What age divisions can enter?
- The Aloha Region Power League is open to teams registered in the USAV Aloha Region in the U18, U17, U16 and U15 age divisions for the current season. Entries will be accepted starting in November and close in mid-December.
- When are the playdates?
- Playdates will vary from season to season. The qualifying tournament will take place in January and there will be one tournament in February, one in March and the tournament finals will be played in April
- What is the format of the matches?
- All matches are best of 3 to 25 points. The deciding set (if necessary) is to 15 points, switching at 8 points. All sets are played with no point cap. Each team will have 2 timeouts per set.
- Are uniforms required for the Qualifying Tournament?
- Numbered jerseys are required for the tournament. If a libero(s) are to be utilized, they will have to be in contrasting colors from the rest of the team to allow for officials to identify them during play. Uniforms (compliant with USAV Guidelines for that season) will be required for tournament play starting in February.
