Best of 3 to 25 points, win by 2 (no cap), 2 timeouts (30 sec)
3rd set (if necessary) to 15 points, switch at 8, win by 2 (no cap), 2 timeouts (30 sec)
Tie breaking
This is a pool play format and only pool play, ties will not be decided by playing a set.
- If 2 teams from the same pool are tied, their head to head match determines their order of finish.
- If 3 teams from the same pool are tied after match and set % and point differential have been calculated, a coin flip will determine their order of finish.
All teams will be re-seeded based upon pool finish, match percentage, set percentage, point percentage and re-pooled for play on Day 2- Sunday, January 11th. Pool assignments will be posted when completed.
Officiating
Teams will be responsible for officiating duties on the assigned court(s). R1 should be provided for the court. Teams are responsible for R2, scoresheet, Libero tracking, scoreboard. Playing teams may be responsible for line officials (if officiating teams do not have enough players). U16 and U15 teams are required to have their head coach at the court(s) to manage and supervise during officiating assignment.
Rosters
Up to date Webpoint rosters with all players and staff must be submitted to start the tournament. Additions of players will not be allowed after the start of the league. Coaches, chaperones, and other adults can be added after the league if a new Webpoint roster is submitted. Handwritten rosters will not be accepted.
Uniforms
Numbered shirts are required and if a libero is to be utilized, they must be contrasting. Officials will be understanding for the qualifying tournament as we understand that uniforms are being ordered now. Uniforms will be required by PL#1 on February 22nd.
